Need a little help with math class...If the linear correlation is .12 then the line of best fit will generate reliable predictions? True or False?
FALSE!!!!!!!! a good correlation is a number close to 1 or -1 (meaning that .86 will predict as well as -.86). A number close to 0, like .12 is bad, and shows that there is not much correlation at all.
