I think this best refers to wanting people romantically, rather than wanting a THING/object. If you want a person too much you'll become obsessive and creep them out, but if it's an item you can buy you'll just work hard for it until you get the money to pay for it.';The best way to loose something is to want it too much,'; True or false?
I think it's somewhat true, but not entirely for every single circumstance of wanting.
