Math true or false questions?

True or false:Scientific notation is only used to write very large numbers.

True or false:Interest is an example of linear equation.Math true or false questions?
False, because scientific notation can be used to show very small decimal numbers.

False, because interest doesn't grow linearly, but exponentially.Math true or false questions?
Both false.

First: Sci Not is used to write long statements (passages) into concise mathematical expressions; that includes numbers too

Second: Compound rate of interest is a non-linear equation involving 'powers'
False it also to write very small numbers

True for the second one but i think it only involves with simple interest not compound(interest on interest). Here evident to show you http://www.financescholar.com/compound-i鈥?/a>
the first one is false. Scientific notation can also be used to write VERY VERY small numbers like 3*10^-45
