Are today's Prophets/apostles apparently true or false?

';To thine own self be true and it shall follow as night to day. Thou cans't scarce be false to any man';.Are today's Prophets/apostles apparently true or false?
If they are called of God, then they are true. Otherwise they are not.

';no man taketh this honor unto himself...'; (Hebrews 5:4)

We can also expect them to have certain abilities...

';And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them: they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. '; (Mark 16:17,18)

A prophet will receive revelations from God.

';Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. '; (Amos 3:7)

The Holy Ghost will bear witness of the truth.

';And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him. '; (Acts 5:32)

I believe that there is a prophet and 12 apostles on the Earth today, who have been called of God, and show forth the power of the priesthood of God. I believe there is a prophet who talks to God and receives revelations on our behalf. I also believe that the Holy Ghost will testify of this truth to all who will listen, and who are sincere in their desire to know the truth, and are willing to follow a living prophet.

Most of them are ';apparently'; false. I say that because the majority of them have taken the title of ';Apostle'; or ';Prophet'; to themselves and their ministries seem to be geared towards getting people to follow them supposedly in the name of Jesus. Instead of being humble servants of the Lord who serve as examples to the flock they set themselves apart from the crowd and often seem more interested in fleecing the flock than in setting an example of humility and self sacrifice so that the Kingdom of Christ might be advanced.

Acts 20:28 Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. 29 For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves.

1 Peter 5:1 The elders who are among you I exhort, I who am a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that will be revealed: 2 Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; 3 nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock;
false!

Prophets were ';personally'; commisioned by God in the Old Testament and the Apostles were ';personally'; commisioned by Christ in the New to build His Church - They were given extra special powers to perform miracles which set them apart from other believers as a show they had been commissioned by God -

Those running around today who claim they are prophets are false prophets (Binny Hinn, Copeland, Pat Robertson for example) as they have predicted things they claim God has told them - that did not come true -

Last Prophet is Muhammad (saw) . He brought Islam in pure form, written in Koran. Many prophets are false but Muhammad(saw) is true prophet. You see billion of Muslim praying to Allah ONLY. There is no prophets after him as Koran in pure is available for everyone.
In terms of Christianity, the ones who highlight the Kingdom Gospel that Jesus was teaching are doing good.

Those who are preaching the Pauline doctrine of sacrifce are misrepresenting the original gospel. More on my biography.
People do make sweeping judgments before knowing anything.

Prophets do appear in every few centuries so that they can bring about the change in human outlook on life.Just look at Mother Theresa and her ilk!
They're all frauds. Ever see Pat Robertson squint his beady little eyes, pray, and proclaim ';someone'; is now cured of disease, or other nonsense? I despair for those people who buy into this tomfoolery.
Some are true. Many are false. John gave us guidance when dealing with prophets (source below).

Nice quote from Shakespeare, though.
Word mongers, who are using an illusion to their advantage to fleece the flock... the delusional flock.
All prophets are false, todays and yesterdays.
yeterdays true todays false.
Apparently, some are true but most are false.
False.
False.
Some are true

but alot are not
